NCF have developed an Accredited Coach Programme. This will assist coaches to access appropriate training and ensure they are qualified to train at a level their team are competing at. We are hoping eventually to introduce New regulations into our competitions, which will state you must hold an appropraite qualification and experience to enter the the level you are competing at. This is to ensure the safety of your cheerleaders.
These courses will also ensure that those training cheerleading are aware of and can deal with any issues which may arise within their squad . Simply holding NCSSE or USASF will not gain your accreditation with us, rather we believe coaches should know about First Aid, Child Protection, Risk Assessment and many other issues which relate to running a squad. This register will also be used when approached by any outside agency such as schools, universities and public enquiries to recommend coaches to work within their areas. We shall run coaches conferences regularly ensuring coaches can access the training required to achieve our Accredited levels.
These conferences shall clearly state which level they are working towards to allow you to meet your requirements. To allow coaches who already have the appropriate USASF qualifications and have the appropraite experience we shall run a coaches conference once a year to meet the other requirements is Child Protection, First Aid and Risk Assessment. All our instructors shall be qualified to a high standard and have a vast experience in cheerleading or be experts in their field and they will be hand selected for their success.
